In-app support chat

The AtomicPlayer dashboard can show a Crisp chat bubble so you can message support without leaving the product. There is no Chat with us item in the sidebar and no switch under Settings. The bubble is Crisp’s own control.

When the bubble appears

The chat loads on dashboard routes, including sign-in, sign-up, onboarding, Player Studio, and Billing, only when that deployment has Crisp enabled. If the bubble is missing, the workspace deployment does not have a Crisp website ID configured. Refreshing the page does not create a widget that the deployment has turned off.

The widget language follows your browser, not the dashboard language switcher.

What support can already see

After you sign in, the dashboard attaches:

  • your email
  • your display name, when the account has one
  • user_id
  • workspace_id, workspace_name, and plan for the active workspace

Signing out, or switching to a different account, clears the previous Crisp session before the next person is identified. Do not assume an earlier conversation stays attached to a new login on the same browser.

What to include in a message

Support can already see the account fields above. Still describe the problem:

  • the page route, such as /videos or /billing
  • what you expected and what happened
  • the visible error text
  • a video ID, invoice number, or migration ID when the issue is about one of those records

Never paste passwords, verification codes, access tokens, API keys, or full card numbers. Card changes belong in the Stripe billing portal. See Getting help.

This is not Ask AI

Ask AI is the product copilot inside AtomicPlayer. The Crisp bubble is human support. Use Ask AI for product questions inside the app, and the chat bubble when you need a person on your account.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I turn the chat on?

You cannot. There is no Settings control. The bubble appears when the deployment has Crisp enabled.

Why is the chat in a different language from the dashboard?

Crisp follows the browser language. The dashboard locale switcher does not change the widget.

Does signing out keep my chat attached to the next user?

No. Sign-out and account switches reset the previous Crisp session.
