Headlines and pitch copy

Open Player Studio → Headlines or a video’s Customize → Headlines. The section subtitle is Timed text banners on the player.

  1. Turn on Enable headlines.
  2. Select + Add. The list is labeled Headlines · one serving at a time.
  3. Open an item and set Name (names must be unique) and Headline text.
  4. Set Timing. The hint says the headline shows between those times and serving headlines cannot overlap.
  5. Set Text color, Alignment (Left, Center, or Right), Bold, Italic, Font size (50–200, relative to the default banner size), and Top inset (0–120). At 0 the top gradient stays. Moving the inset down draws a full-width solid bar behind the text.
  6. Turn Serving on for the item that should appear. If the range overlaps another serving headline, Studio reports a collision, for example Collides with “Opening” (00:00–00:30). Turn that off, or move this before/after. Changing a serving range into a collision turns Serving off for the item you are editing.
  7. Select Done, then save and publish the draft.

You can keep several headlines on the video. Only one serving headline can cover any moment. Headline copy is separate from CTA labels, lead forms, and the Pitch Reveal tease.

Frequently asked questions

Can I schedule several headlines?

Yes. Add more than one item. Turn Serving on only for ranges that do not overlap.

What happens if two serving ranges overlap?

Studio blocks the second Serving toggle and shows which headline it collides with.

Is this the same as Show only during pitch?

That toggle is gone. Use Timing on each headline to choose when the banner is on screen.
