Analytics workspace overview
The Analytics workspace is the cross-video reporting surface in AtomicPlayer. Where per-video Metrics answer "how did this one file do?", Analytics aggregates every video so you can see attention, intent, and dollars across the whole library in one place.
Where to find it
Open Analytics from the main navigation. The workspace opens on the Overview sub-view, with a toolbar across the top and a sub-nav of reports below it.
The toolbar
The toolbar controls every report at once. Set it once and it carries across the sub-views.
- Scope — Choose All videos or one of the folders that currently exists in your library. Counts come from the library; there are no fixed VSL, webinar, or archive scopes.
- Date range — Pick Today, 7d, 30d, 90d, or 12m, or open Custom date range and select Apply range.
- Compare — Choose No compare, vs prev period, or vs goal. Deltas on each metric reflect the comparison you pick.
- Live status — A pulsing indicator shows the data is live and when it last updated (e.g. "updated 2s ago").
- Refresh and Export — Force a refresh or export the current report.
The KPI strip
The Overview opens with four KPI cards for the selected scope and range:
| KPI | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Total views | Aggregate views across all videos in scope. |
| Total revenue | Revenue reported for the period. |
| Avg retention | Average retention across the selected scope. |
| Conversion rate | The reported conversion rate for the period. |
Each tile carries a delta versus the comparison mode you selected.
Reports and availability
The sub-nav routes to ten reports:
- Overview — KPI strip, a views-and-revenue dual-axis chart, an AI digest, and a Top performing videos table.
- Retention — Second-by-second retention curve, drop-off cliffs, engagement heatmap.
- Funnel — Impression → Play → Pitch → CTA click → Conversion.
- Revenue — Approved checkout sales attributed to the last video click. Connect the checkout under Integrations & APIs → Revenue.
- Cohorts — Retention matrix and best/worst segments.
- Audience — Attention scores, predicted LTV, churn risk.
- Live — Real-time worldwide monitor and event stream.
- Replays — Anonymized session replays and heatmaps.
- Benchmarks — Coming soon in the production UI.
- Ask AI — Opens the dedicated Ask AI route at
/ask-ai.
The AI digest
On the Overview, the This week's AI digest card compiles plain-language insights from your videos — for example, what drove a revenue jump, where mobile retention is sliding, or which country converts best. Use Ask follow-up to continue the thread in Atomicat AI.
Best practices
- Set scope and range first. Every report inherits them, so narrowing scope before you dig keeps comparisons clean.
- Wait for processing. Like per-video Metrics, pipelines can lag minutes to hours after fresh activity.

Frequently asked questions
How is the Analytics workspace different from a single video's Metrics?
The workspace aggregates every video in scope and adds reports like funnels, cohorts, and benchmarks. A video's Metrics tab covers just that one file.
Does the scope menu change every report?
It applies the selected library folder to reports that are currently live. Date and comparison controls are also shared. Benchmarks remains a coming-soon screen.
What powers the AI digest and Ask AI?
Both run on Atomicat AI. The digest summarizes trends automatically; Ask AI lets you query your data in plain language.
