AI copywriting

Use the Write prompt category in Ask AI to draft or translate hooks, CTAs, pitches, and longer script text.

Where to find it

Open Ask AI and ask for copy, or use Write on the empty state. On a video detail page, the embedded Ask AI panel automatically receives that video as context.

Provide the source copy

  • If the video's transcript is complete, Ask AI can fetch its timestamped text.
  • If no complete transcript is available, paste the hook, CTA, pitch, or script you want changed.
  • For new copy, state the audience, purpose, tone, language, and desired length.

Ask AI is explicitly instructed not to reconstruct unavailable copy from metadata alone.

Review the output

A response can provide draft alternatives and follow-up suggestions. The current product does not expose a validated copy score, predicted first-15-second retention, predicted CTA rate, or a guaranteed number of options. Treat generated copy as a draft to review, not a measured outcome.

Put copy into use

You can manually place the selected text in the appropriate player or content workflow. For supported player settings, Ask AI may return a confirmable draft action card. Confirming a draft does not publish it; publishing is a separate action.

To compare copy experimentally, prepare complete video versions and create an A/B test with those videos. The current test builder does not create component-level hook or CTA variants.

Best practices

  • Provide the current copy or use a completed transcript.
  • Specify constraints instead of asking for an unbounded rewrite.
  • Review factual claims, URLs, and offer terms before saving or publishing.
  • Validate important copy with actual audience data rather than an unsupported predicted score.

Frequently asked questions

Does Ask AI score each draft against my top performers?

No validated score or predicted-retention field is exposed in the current response contract. Ask AI can use available workspace data, but generated copy remains a draft to review and test.

Can it write in another language?

Yes. Ask it to translate text you provide or a completed video transcript, and specify the target language and tone.

How do I test generated copy?

Prepare complete video versions containing the alternatives, then compare those videos in A/B Tests.
