Captions, dubs, and transcription
Open a ready video and select Settings → Captions, dubbing & transcript.
Generate media languages
- Select one or more supported target languages.
- Choose Captions only, Dub only, or Captions + dub.
- For captions-only jobs, optionally include speaker labels on source-language captions.
- Review duration, billable minutes, per-language credits, and wallet balance.
- Start the job and keep generation controls locked until audio tracks finish publishing.
Dubs are labeled AI-generated and voice similarity is not guaranteed. Only editors can start jobs, one media-AI job can run at a time, and the video must be ready.
Free transcript and downloads
The Free transcript panel can generate timed text in the browser. Leave that tab open while it runs. Available segments can be downloaded as SRT, VTT, or timestamped TXT. Generated caption tracks also appear in the language download selector; Download all retrieves available tracks.
Player display behavior is configured separately under Captions and subtitles.
Frequently asked questions
Why is Generate disabled?
You need editor access, a ready video, at least one language, enough credits, and no generation already in progress.
Are dubbing voices exact clones?
No. The UI explicitly states that voice similarity is not guaranteed.
Can I close the free-transcript tab?
Keep it open while browser transcription runs; closing it can interrupt the workflow.
