AtomicPlayer MCP

AtomicPlayer MCP is a remote Model Context Protocol server. Any compatible AI client or agent can work in a workspace you already use. The server URL is:

https://mcp.atomicplayer.ai/mcp

The client signs in with your AtomicPlayer account. Your password is not pasted into the chat.

Connect

  1. In your MCP client, add a remote MCP server. Use Streamable HTTP when the client asks for a transport.
  2. Paste https://mcp.atomicplayer.ai/mcp.
  3. Sign in with the email and password for your AtomicPlayer account.
  4. Choose the workspaces and permissions to allow.

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and other clients that support remote MCP all use this same URL. Follow that client's own MCP setup, then paste the AtomicPlayer server address.

To disconnect a client, open the dashboard and go to Settings → Connected apps, then revoke that app. You can also open Integrations & APIs → MCP in the dashboard to copy the URL.

What the client can do

  • Read the account, plan, invoices, and AI credit usage. Invoice file links and the full tax id are hidden.
  • Update the workspace name, language, and player branding.
  • Invite a teammate. Making someone an owner asks for an extra confirmation.
  • Create folders and tags, update a video, and delete a video, folder, or tag after you confirm the id.
  • Edit a player draft, publish it after you confirm the player id, and apply workspace defaults after you confirm the workspace id.
  • Read retention, funnels, revenue, audience, and replays.
  • Create, launch, pause, resume, and promote experiments. Promote and delete ask you to confirm the id.
  • Create, test, and delete webhooks. The signing secret is not shown in chat.
  • List and revoke API keys.
  • Start a transcription or captions job only after you accept the quoted credit cost.
  • Start an import from a provider that is already connected in the dashboard.

What stays in the dashboard

These actions are not available through MCP:

  • Sign up, reset a password, or sign out.
  • Open checkout, buy credit packs, cancel a subscription, or refund a charge.
  • Upload a video file or the workspace logo.
  • Paste a token to connect an import provider.
  • Create an API key or rotate a webhook signing secret.
  • Change the role permission matrix.

Frequently asked questions

Which URL do I add in my MCP client?

Use https://mcp.atomicplayer.ai/mcp. Any client that supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP can use that address.

Can I limit which workspace the client sees?

Yes. During sign-in you choose the workspaces and permissions to allow. Revoke the connection later from Settings → Connected apps.

Will the client charge my card or cancel my plan?

No. Checkout, credit purchases, cancellation, and refunds stay in the dashboard.

Can it upload my video file?

No. Upload the file in the dashboard. After that, the client can rename the video, file it, tag it, and edit the player.
